Focus 2 Learn Program

After it arrived and I read through the literature, I was still somewhat skeptical. My eleven year old ADHD/LD son and I watched the included "activities DVD." He followed along with the instructor while I watched. I am happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. The activities include:

The instructor does an excellent job of describing and illustrating how each of the exercises are to be done. My son liked that there were children on the DVD doing the exercises along with the instructor. He also enjoyed using the included therapy balls, beach ball and agility cones.

I like the fact that the program is versatile. He can choose to do use the program on his own, utilizing a nearby wall to bounce the balls off of. This gives him a feeling of independence and increases his confidence. However, if he chooses, he can have a partner (his dad or I) participate and pass the balls to us.

In the four weeks that my son has used the Focus2Learn Program, I have seen a substantial improvement in his self confidence, agility and concentration. He enjoys preforming the exercises each day. My other son, who does not have ADHD or LD, enjoys the program as well. I am anxious for school to start so my son can put his new found concentration and focus skills to the test.
