A New Time Management Solution for Children
Does your ADHD/LD child have problems with organization, time management or working independently? The Tick Task can help! The creators of this product promote it as "A new time management solution for children." What? Your child does not yet know how to tell time? No problem. With the Tick Task they don't need to.
The Tick Task comes with four removable "activity panels" which can be used for morning, afternoon and evening activities. There are 40 magnets included that easily attach to the activity panels. Each magnet shows a common activity that your child needs to complete throughout the day. There are also blank magnets included which can be easily personalized to fit your child's particular needs.

The magnets can be arranged by time of day or by setting each activity in five minute intervals (morning routine for example). You also have the ability to set the digital clock to provide an audible reminder for each individual activity if you wish. You have the option of using the "ring," "tune," or off setting for the reminder.
The magnets store easily and neatly inside by unlocking the green latches on each side, removing the activity panels and placing them in the provided slots. This will help teach your child organizational skills as well.
My son successfully used the Tick Task to help him with his morning routine. He has difficulty successfully managing his time and this product helped him do just that. The audible reminder was a great way for him to stay on schedule as well. He could look at each magnet and clearly see what activity he needed to be doing and what tasks he still needed to complete before leaving for school. His younger brother, who does not have ADHD or LD, also enjoyed using the Tick Task as well. It helped make our morning routine go so much more smoothly. They did not have to rely on me to tell them what needed to be done. The same can be said for the evening. After they arrived home from school, we used another activity panel to show when chores, homework, play time, dinner and bed time were.

The lucky recipient of the Tick Task that I used for this product review is.... my son's resource teacher. I've told her all about it and she's super excited to use it with her students!
